ConfirMED is an automated appointment confirmation service that allows physicians to remind patients of their appointments via phone, text and email. ConfirMED collects appointment data and uploads it to secure HIPAA compliant servers. The data can include appointment time, location and Dr.’s name among other customizable data fields. Physicians are sent a report by email after messages go out and patients respond. The entire process is “hands off for doctors” as physicians don’t have to create a file or push a button for the program to work. ConfirMED even connects to NEMO Health’s databases to access patient information.
